Q: Why should I use ParentConnect?
A: ParentConnect is a communication tool providing student information on assignment grades, attendance, and discipline. We aim to provide tools to help students take responsibility for their learning. We aim to partner with parents to motivate and support students toward academic excellence.

Q: I want to use ParentConnect. What do I do?
A: On any computer with Internet access, go to the ParentConnect website for
 Roswell HS at www.roswellhigh.com . Click on register and complete the online form. Submit.

Q: I’ve registered online. Now what do I do?
A: Come to the main office of the high school during regular office hours.
 Cindy Neuhierl processes registrations and she will give you your user id and password. A photo id is requested to obtain this information.

Q: I cannot get into the ParentConnect website?
A: Try the following:

  1. Type in fultonschools.org – don’t include www.
  2. Reboot your computer.
  3. Ask at Roswell if the server is down temporarily.
  4. Call your computer and/or Internet service provider technical support.

Q: Why doesn’t my student have any assignment grades in ParentConnect?
A: Log into ParentConnect with your id and password. Under the assignments pencil, click on the pull down box and select “This school year” or the time period of your choice.

Q: Why doesn’t my student have grades in ParentConnect?
A: Log into ParentConnect with your id and password. Under the grade pencil click on the arrow next to the grading period that is the last grading period.

Q: What is my student’s current average in a specific class?
A: ParentConnect does not post daily class averages at this time. Class averages are posted every 4 1/2 weeks under grades. Assignment grades are posted daily, but keep in mind that each grade is weighed differently.

Q: Why does my student have an unexcused absence?
A: Mouse over the frowning face on the attendance calendar and you will see details of your student’s attendance.

Q: How can I get email notification of my student’s grades and attendance?
A: Log into ParentConnect with your id and password. Click on “settings” in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Enter or insure that your email is accurate. Click to check all boxes in which you want notification.

Q: When I get an email notification of a failing /missing grade how do I know what assignment it is that my student failed/missed?
A: Ask your student what assignment he/she has failed or missed. Look under assignments and review all failing/missing grades.
